  I could write a full novel in the horrors I faced when I visited Promenade Dentistry for a cleaning. In short, I was practically harassed by the dental assistant (I believe is who she was.) I was young & on my own who had worked to support herself for many years. I hadn't had any form of Dental insurance or the money to really cosmetically fix my smile at the time. After saving towards getting Invisilign my last step was a cleaning and a filling. I had purchased a dental cleaning and was told I would need to have scaling done on my teeth. This was understandable but not possible for me to do at the time. Since I had already paid for my cleaning service I explained the situation and asked if it would be possible to return for a further cleaning at another time. After the Dentist had left the room, I was mortified by the other lady who had been there with us. After trying to explain simply I did not have the funds to pay the thousands of dollars for the scaling right now as it was not In my budget that I was a college student trying to make ends meet and was finally awarding myself by working on my teeth. I did not want to commit to something I could not afford. I was told "do you just not care about yourself?" And stories of how she was "on the streets" at my age and she found someone and "took care of herself like she had to". Obviously I wanted to work on my teeth but if it was not feasible then it just was not feasible. I would of course have the work done but was not able to commit to thousand dollar procedures at the time. I was told horrific hints about how I would look so much prettier if I would "actually care about my teeth" and was questioned as to wether I cared about myself or not like I was some form of animal or something! I just wanted to get my cleaning and leave! I was verbally harassed by this woman until I was SOBBING! I had to leave the office in sobs with no one even bothering to care. I was so shaken my fiancé had to cal my mother and explain the situation because I was left feeling so AWFUL about myself I did not even want to speak. My mother contacted the office several times with promise of a resolution to no avail. I am not someone to leave negative feedback like this and I always try to consider any possible reasoning or situation from every point of view but the employee here should be out of a job and away from any type of industry that involves helping service any human being. I am to this day absolutely disgusted by the things I encountered here and will be taking this further. I never received my services nor my refund.
